| Flocon A serie or 7 o 8 snowplough turns with skis brought back to a parallel position between turns. Basic traverse across the slope following a more or less straight trajectory. demonstration of adequate balance by short downhill descent over uneven terrain. | ![]() |
| 1ère étoile Series of elementary sideslip turns through a marked-out course on a moderately steep slope. Direct traverse with skis parallel, maintaining pressure on the skis' edges. Step turns on a gentle slope with skis across the fall-line to begin. |
